My hope is that my art will be an inspiration to others of the splendor that I see in God’s beautiful creation. My pictures started off as photography of flowers, scenery, basically the beauty all around us.

"I seek to capture transitory, moving moments when the mechanics of the world twinkle briefly into focus. The process is a cross between a personal space and memory systems such as language or representational imagery. Interactions of discrete elements create outcomes that are unique from moment to moment : new spaces for memory, both familiar and surprising in their fleeting resolution".
Mary Ratner
I have owned a camera for as long as I can remember. My first subjects were sand dunes, driftwood & trees. Simple images that continue to captivate me. I have always been drawn to the effects of natural light on nature & architecture, & I see my work as an attempt to freeze the moment. My journeys to Africa & India have profoundly affected my vision of humanity. We live in an age of worlds within worlds, & I try to represent their beauty & mystery through the simplicity of my images.
